Home Remodeling in Mechanicsville, VA

I recently had the pleasure of working with Ben Holder and his team at Holder Construction for two projects, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They crafted a stunning custom-built bookshelf for my home, complete with cabinets and shelves, and the result is nothing short of breathtaking. The craftsmanship is impeccable, with every detail meticulously executed, making it a standout feature in my living room. The design is both functional and elegant, perfectly tailored to my needs. Additionally, Ben built a set of stairs for my son’s home, which are not only beautiful but also incredibly sturdy. His ability to deliver such high-quality work in a short amount of time was truly impressive. Throughout both projects, Ben’s attention to detail was evident, ensuring every aspect was flawless. Ben himself is an absolute delight to work with. He’s a well-mannered, professional young man who always presented himself with care and respect. His responsiveness was outstanding—any questions or concerns were addressed promptly, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Holder Construction, led by Ben Holder, sets a gold standard for quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. I would trust them with any future projects and highly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional craftsmanship.

Ben and his team did a fantastic job of replacing our old deck with Trex materials. The construction and attention to details was wonderful. In addition, they worked closely with us thru the process to make sure we were pleased with the outcome.

Ben and his team were wonderful. We shared our ideas with him and he helped us choose the right products for our tile shower, stand alone tub, flooring and even the vanity. Everything went according to plan and now we have a beautifully done, updated, adult bathroom which we are very proud to show neighbors and family. We utilized Ben and his team to replace 10+ interior doors in the original 1940's portion of our home. Nothing was a standard size, and Ben and his team had to cut away plaster, build out the frames, and deal with any other unknowns that came up. The end product was excellent, and he kept us up to date and did what he said he would do when he said he would it. So we really appreciate the work quality, communication and overall process. We would recommend him to anyone and look forward to using him again as soon as we have an excuse to!

Highly recommend Ben and his team! They are highly professional, meticulous, and exceeded my expectations. They treated my house like it was their own house. He did multiple projects including bathroom renovations, built in’s, deck renovations and a fireplace remodel.

Ben did a fantastic job on our front porch renovation. He was timely, available, honest and transparent. We have had many neighbors inquire about our contractor and I am happy to share that it was Holder Construction. We will definitely call Ben again!
